"An off the rack suit or dress might fit you, but no matter how well manufacturered it is, a custom-tailored version is going to fit you even better. The same is true with travel."

Create your own overland safari. Duration - your time is your limit. Quote on request.

Designing your own bespoke journey is extremely interesting, exciting and engaging for the whole family and is helps you to understand your destination better and and the best thing of all, is that it is unique to your own specific requirements.  Here’s a way to help by answering these questions:

People / Tour partyThe composition of your tour group can have a significant effect on the selection of your trail. I have no doubt that many questions will need to be answered, so go ahead and ask (please see contact details below).

  • How many people in your travel party?
  • How many singles / couples / children under the age of 12 years?
  • Any senior citizens or people with disabilities?

Duration and timing: A duration of under 5 days will be extremely limiting in respect of a rewarding overland / safari experience.

The best times for overland travel destinations is April – October.

  • Duration: how many days / weeks / months?
  • Timing: what time of the year? (Consideration should be given to the rainy season in certain parts of Africa which will mean there is limited access to certain locations).

Types of activities: The level of mobility and propensity for adventure will affect the kind of activities you will seek. List what interests you and your group:

Game viewing / Wildlife photography / Birding or other fauna and flora interests / Hiking / Walking / River rafting / Canoeing / Fishing (off-shore / angling / fresh / tiger / fly) / Scuba-diving / Hot air ballooning / Bungee jumping / Cooking / Yoga / Golfing / Cycling / Surfing.
